Emulate Will and Halt from the Ranger’s Apprentice series with this fun and easy coffee recipe.
If you’ve read the Ranger’s Apprentice series, you know that Rangers love coffee.
Will, Halt and the other Rangers in John Flanagan’s books are often portrayed as fanatic coffee drinkers and are seen enjoying the beverage in a variety of ways. But while their methods of drinking coffee vary from book to book, it seems that the Rangers always come back to what some fans have dubbed ‘Ranger coffee': coffee with honey.
To make it yourself, scroll on for a recipe inspired by the books.
Ranger's Apprentice honey coffee
Serves: 1
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 mug of freshly brewed coffee
- 1 teaspoon honey (or more, depending on your taste)
- 1 dash of milk (optional)
Method
Brew coffee with your method of choice. You can use a percolator, coffee pod machine, filter coffee machine, or French press to make your perfect mug. Or use instant coffee to keep things simple.
While the coffee is still warm, stir in the honey, adding more to taste.
If you like your coffee with milk, feel free to add a dash of dairy milk or any plant milk you desire.
Enjoy!
Note: You can also make this caffeine-free by using decaf coffee.
