Working with FedEx and StarTrack

Learn how Penguin Random House ANZ is working with FedEx and StarTrack with a shared focus on leading the way in sustainability.

Our recent move to FedEx and StarTrack was largely driven by the demand for high levels of service, but we are also pleased that these companies share our passion for leading the way when it comes to sustainable practices. Both companies have clear pathways to zero emissions and have committed significant investments to achieve their goals.

  • A stated goal of carbon neutrality by 2040 
  • Invested $2 billion in vehicle electrification, sustainable energy and carbon sequestration
  • 100% of global FedEx Express pickup and delivery vehicle purchases to be zero-emission electric vehicles by 2030 100% electric FedEx parcel pickup and delivery vehicle fleet by 2040

  • Goal of reducing scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 15% by 2025
  • Investing in smart transport (electric vehicles and e-bikes) and renewable energy – they already have 20 electric trucks in their fleet, the first in the country
  • 2030 aspirations in line with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
