2018 ABIA winners

Two Penguin Random House books have won awards at the 2018 Australian Book Industry Awards.

We are thrilled to share the news that two Penguin Random House books have won awards at the 2018 Australian Book Industry Awards.

Zoe Foster Blake’s ingenious picture book No One Likes A Fart was awarded Picture Book of the Year Award. A sweet, funny story about accepting yourself and finding a friend who loves you just the way you are; this is Zoe’s first picture book.

Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls by Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo won the International Book of the Year Award. Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls reinvents fairy tales, inspiring children with the stories of 100 heroic women from Elizabeth I to Serena Williams, and has been a bestseller since publication in March 2017.

The Australian Book Industry Awards (ABIAs) is an annual celebration that celebrates the connection between Australian readers and the ‘book makers’ – authors, editors, publishing professionals and retailers, who unite to create the must-read books of the year.
