The Personal Penguin figurine is back for its second year!

Following on from the success of the gift with purchase in 2024, this Love Your Bookshop Day a new penguin figurine will be available exclusively on Love Your Bookshop Day with the purchase of any two Penguin books from participating stores.

Love Your Bookshop Day, an initiative by BookPeople, is a day to celebrate our local bookshops and the integral role they play in our community. From personalised book recommendations to hosting a wide range of literary events, our local bookshops make an incredible impact on every reader’s book collection.

To participate, simply visit one of our participating bookshops on 11 October and buy two Penguin Books to receive your Personal Penguin at the counter.

Personal Penguins are only available while stocks last in each store. If you have the 2024 figurine, be sure to collect its buddy!

Your Personal Penguin is made to last as a memento of Love Your Bookshop Day 2025.

Should you wish to discard Your Personal Penguin, we encourage you to rehome it by gifting it to a fellow book lover.
