Submit at the right time
Submissions for children's and YA manuscripts are open for the month of July 2025. They will close 31 July 2025, 11:59pm AEST. We will not consider any manuscripts submitted before or after July 2025.

We do not accept
Picture books, plays/scripts, poetry or educational text books. We also do not accept submissions from outside Australia, New Zealand or Oceania (unless via an agent, or the author has a connection to the region such as citizenship or residency).
Important Information
Before beginning the manuscript submission process via the portal below, please note:
The Manuscript
You will be required to provide 50 to 100 pages of your manuscript, double-spaced, as a Word document or a PDF. Please don’t send the entire manuscript. Please do not send your manuscript more than once, even if you have revised it since it was first submitted. We accept submissions from ANZ territories only.
Your Work
You will be asked for information about your work, such as the title, whether it's fiction or non-fiction, and the genre (e.g. The Lost Codex: Fiction/Thriller).
Our process
Submitted manuscripts will be considered by members of the editorial, sales, and marketing and publicity teams. Submissions are treated as confidential material.
Response
Due to the large volume of submissions we receive, we are unable to respond to submissions that are unsuccessful. If we are interested in your manuscript you will be advised in writing when your submission has been assessed. If you do not receive a response from us within four months please assume your submission is unsuccessful.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide feedback on unsuccessful submissions.
