Things are about to get messy for the Peski Kids as mud-run madness descends on Currawong!

Chaos parachutes into Currawong when the annual Mud Run hits town. The Peski kids are soon swept up in the festivities. Or in April’s case, strapped to a vision-impaired competitor in the race.

Can Joe beat the fierce opposition? Can Fin hit Joe with a giant mud ball? Can April make it through a school day without getting expelled? Who knows? But when the prize money goes missing someone has to figure out what really happened under all that mud!

Praise for The Peski Kids 3: Stuck in the Mud

“Once again R. A. Spratt has brought the comedic muscle she is known for to another fabulously engaging story for kiddos aged from around 8 years upwards. Following the successes of Nanny Piggins and Friday Barnes, the Peski Kids are fast becoming firm favourites with middle school reading fans. The ‘snort laugh’ is always my measure of a truly hilarious book – and this new episode did not fail to deliver.”

Sue Warren, Read Plus

“The pressure is on in this surprising, irreverent, quirky and muddy book. Spies, criminal masterminds, lots of laughs and mud – what more can an 8+ reader ask for?”

Better Reading

“R. A. Spratt's Stuck in the Mud delivers a fast-paced adventure, plenty of family drama, quirky characters and another Currawong community crazy event. Her humorous and witty style of writing make this another exciting addition to the series and a fantastic class novel for students in the Upper Primary.”

Rhyllis Bignell, Read Plus

“This series is fantastic. The author has a knack for taking the ordinary and making it epic and outrageous.”
