From the darkest hours of human history, emerge breathtaking stories of humankind.

During the mass genocide of European Jews at the hands of German Nazi’s during World War II, more than six million life stories were extinguished. But as survivors began to rebuild their lives around the globe, incredible tales of defiance, endurance, compassion, heroism and benevolence emerged. And as these stories continue to be told and retold, they stand as a stark reminder of the horrors of humanity’s darkest days, and as a warning never to let such atrocities happen again.
