Jasper Zammit is a soccer legend– at least in his own head. Whole stadiums shout his name as he bends balls, accepts trophies and scores magic goals for the Rovers Under-11s. When a new girl, Lil, joins the team, Jasper thinks he's found someone as obsessed with soccer as he is. But there's one hitch - Lil's dad is the reason Jasper's dad has lost his job. Can the two still be friends?

Praise for Jasper Zammit Soccer Legend 1: The Game Of Life

A captivating story of fast paced action.

Toy & Hobby Retailer

This is an excellent story! I couldn't wait to reach the end… I think that most kids that read it will enjoy it very much even if they're not interested in soccer. My favourite character was Lil because she's happy and always looked on the bright side and was a good friend to Jasper.

Melissa Rigby, age 9, Random House Book Buddies

I would give this book 9/10 because it was a really good book to read and I enjoyed it. I would say this is a family story because of the family issues that go on in this book.
