The perfect breakfast to batch for the week ahead and pack for on-the-go eating, these chocolate chip-studded oat bars from are a much more satisfying option than shop-bought cereal bars.

Ingredients
- 225g jumbo oats
- 75g chocolate chips
- 50g runny honey
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100ml semi-skimmed milk
- 2 eggs
Method
- Line a square baking tin (approximately 22cm) with greaseproof paper.
- Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl, then transfer to the tin, gently pressing down until the top is smooth.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes at 180°C in the air fryer or 25 minutes in the oven at 180°C/160°C fan.
- Once cooked, allow to cool in the tin, then slice into 16 bars.
