Air Fryer Cookie Dough Breakfast Bars

The perfect breakfast to batch for the week ahead and pack for on-the-go eating, these chocolate chip-studded oat bars from are a much more satisfying option than shop-bought cereal bars.

Makes 16 bars

Prep: 10 minutes

Cook: 25 minutes

Essential: Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 225g jumbo oats
  • 75g chocolate chips
  • 50g runny honey
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 2 eggs

Method

  1. Line a square baking tin (approximately 22cm) with greaseproof paper.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl, then transfer to the tin, gently pressing down until the top is smooth.
  3. Bake for 18–20 minutes at 180°C in the air fryer or 25 minutes in the oven at 180°C/160°C fan.
  4. Once cooked, allow to cool in the tin, then slice into 16 bars.
