About

Join crime authors Georgia Harper and Mercedes Mercier as they discuss the shared themes of their newest thrilling releases and how their professional backgrounds influenced their writing.

Dove was born from a real social-media phenomenon where women around the world answered the question “What would you do if there were no men for 24 hours?” Their heartbreakingly simple responses ignited Georgia Harper’s imagination and exposed the pervasiveness of fear in women’s lives. Georgia used her experience working as a psychologist with serious violent offenders and victim-survivors of crime to inform the characters and situations in Dove.

With over a decade working in the criminal justice system, Mercedes Mercier draws on her first-hand experience with prisons, offenders and the psychology of crime to craft her characters. The Couples Retreat is Nine Perfect Strangers meets The White Lotus in a tense, intoxicating thriller about privilege and power, friendship and jealousy, and the thin line between wanting it all and losing everything.

Books will be available for purchase and signing on the night.
