Rockhampton Northside Library - Georgia Harper & Mercedes Mercier

Join Georgia Harper and Mercedes Mercier as they discuss their new books ('Dove' and 'The Couple's Retreat' respectively) in a relaxed double author talk at the Rockhampton Northside Library.

The authors draw on their extensive experience to create these compelling, fascinating works. Georgia worked as a psychologist with serious violent offenders and victim-survivors of crime while Mercedes worked in Corrections for over a decade, spending time in and out of prisons talking to high notoriety offenders. The pair are a dynamic duo and this event will be a double feature author talk, with Georgia and Mercedes speaking to each other about their books, their shared themes (of coercive control, led by fantastic female characters), as well as how their professional backgrounds played a part in writing their novels.
