About

Facing the Facts: Feminism, Faith and Finding Your Voice

Jamila Rizvi and Susan Carland in conversation

In Fighting Hislam, Dr Susan Carland speaks with Muslim women about how they are making a stand for their gender, while holding fast to their faith. Jamila Rizvi’s Not Just Lucky examines how Australian women are suffering from a crisis of confidence at work; captives of an inner voice that warns them they’re not good enough. In this stimulating session Susan and Jamila will discuss feminism, faith and how they found their voices.

Session Chair: Jennifer Martin
