About

AUSTRALIA HAS ACHIEVED GREAT THINGS PUSHING FOR EQUALITY. BUT THERE’S SO MUCH STILL TO DO.

The gender pay gap has been stubborn for over two decades. One Australian woman is killed every week by a partner or former partner. If we carry on the way we’re going, we won’t achieve gender equity in our Parliament until 2046.

We have to break through the barriers to equality. But this won’t happen by chance – Australia needs a concrete plan for real action.

Join Tanya Plibersek, Jamila Rizvi and special guests for an interactive discussion about the issues facing women in Australia and, more importantly, the solutions we need to put in place to address them.

This event is the Sydney Launch of Setting the Agenda, Labor's national conversation about gender equity. Find out how you can be involved at www.settingtheagenda.org.au

Signed copies of Not Just Lucky by Jamila Rizvi will be available for purchase following the event.
