The No-Good Nine

Hang on for a wild ride when you roll with the No-Good Nine!

The No-Good Nine are the kids your parents warned you to stay away from. The ragtag band of misfits lie, steal, run away from home, and even burn down Santa's toy factory. (They say it was an accident.) Anyway, Santa had it coming--he put coal in their stockings. Full of laughs and double-crosses, this tongue-in-cheek romp is for readers who like their Christmas spirit irreverent rather than sentimental.

Praise for The No-Good Nine

"With as many laughs and double-crosses as befits a band of naughty-listers, the tale offers raucous holiday adventuring."
     --Publishers Weekly
"Marciano creates a cast of ragamuffins diverse in race, gender, ethnic background, social class, and temperament. A tongue-in-cheek romp with currently topical overtones."
     --Kirkus Reviews

"Marciano's freewheeling tale--full of frenetic peril, cartoony violence, and sometimes-rude humor--will appeal to readers who prefer their holiday spirit to be side-splitting rather then heart-tugging."
     --The Horn Book
