Dream Minding

The Secret Language of Sleep

A radical new take on how to use dreams as a tool for self-discovery and emotional healing by renowned psychotherapist and Vogue and Goop contributor, Annie Armstrong Miyao.

A radical new take on how to use dreams as a tool for self-discovery and emotional healing by renowned psychotherapist and Vogue and Goop contributor, Annie Armstrong Miyao.

In Dream Minding, psychotherapist Annie Armstrong Miyao brings dream analysis to the modern age, revealing how our dreams can help us navigate life's biggest questions and identify issues that often remain hidden in our waking lives.

Drawing on psychological theory, real-life case studies and neuroscience, Miyao helps us understand what we should be looking for in our dreams, and how to get the most out of recording and analysing the sometimes absurd scenes that play in our minds as we sleep.

Both practical and enlightening, Dream Minding teaches us how to use our dreams – our own internal signals – as a meaningful compass to understand our deep or confusing emotions and navigate life with a sense of direction, purpose and wellbeing.

'Annie’s profound exploration of the unconscious mind will have you thinking deeply about your inner life, your relationships, and how you take in the world while teaching you to embrace the medicine - and the magic - of your sleep to find meaning in your waking life.' - Lori Gottlieb, New York Times bestselling author of Maybe You Should Talk to Someone
