Paul Talling

Book for an event

Paul Talling first became interested in the hidden history of derelict London in 2003, after witnessing the demolition of an old candle factory in Battersea. Later that year, he set up derelictlondon.com, a website that collects photos and stories of the capital’s abandoned spots. Since then, the website has received millions of views, won numerous awards, and been described by the Daily Telegraph as Britain’s ‘shabby Pevsner’. Paul's previous books include the bestselling Derelict London, and a photographic tour along London's hidden waterways, London's Lost Rivers. Originally a music promoter in North London, Paul now lives on the South East coast.
