Jobi Murphy started in children's publishing at Scholastic Australia working on both trade and education books and magazines. Since starting out on her own, Jobi's portfolio includes the award-winning My Alphabet Kit for Blake Education, work on Scholastic's Reading Discovery series, and the design and illustration of Random House's Stories for Six Year Olds and the following books in that series. Jobi is more recently the illustrator of the bestselling Max Remy series by Deborah Abela and is the design mind behind series such as Pearlie and Saddle Club. She illustrated the picture books Billabong Bill's Bushfire Christmas and Muddled-up Farm as well as the new picture book Saving Muddled-up Farm. She now divides her time between working in children's publishing and looking after family in the leafy Sydney suburb of Grays Point.
