Charlie Mackesy’s beloved book The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse is finally becoming a movie – and alongside it is a beautiful new book:  The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse: The Animated Story.

Featuring the same celebrated characters, this new imagining features full-coloured illustrations to celebrate the work of over 100 animators across two years of production.

The movie will be available in Australia on Apple TV+ on Christmas Day, but in the meantime, you can bide your time by reading the book and figuring out which character you relate to most.
