Born in the UK and now based in Bowral, NSW, R.A. is the bestselling author of dozens of witty, wildly imaginative books, including Friday Barnes, The Adventures of Nanny Piggins, The Peski Kids, Hamlet Is Not OK, Romeo v Juliet, Epically Good Greek Myths, and the Shockingly and Astonishingly Good Stories collections. Her podcast, Bedtime Stories with R.A. Spratt, has amassed more than 7 million downloads worldwide.

And she's been busy. This year alone has seen the release of Romeo v Juliet, The Epically Awesome Odyssey, as Told by Nanny Piggins, and the upcoming Friday Barnes: Nothing to Lose, due out in September.
