About

With good friends, as with great art, our sense of the world can be challenged, transformed and vastly enriched. Yet the role of friendship is rarely examined or celebrated in the same way as our romantic and familial ties. Hear from three remarkable writers – Ceridwen Dovey ({Mothertongues}), Shaimaa Khalil (Runaways) and Patti Miller (True Friends) – whose most recent books explore the nuances and incredible power of friendship. They discuss the importance of our other significant others and how our bonds with them support and sustain us across the phases of our lives, with Caroline Baum.

Book

Mothertongues
Shortlisted for the 2023 NSW Premier's Literary Awards: Douglas Stewart Prize for Non-Fiction. A genre-defying, collaborative marvel that brings the absurdity of motherhood to the page.
