The Master of political conspiracy brings back his most-loved characters in an explosive tale of global superpowers doing battle

Jack Ryan moves back into the Oval Office and is immediately faced with an international threat.

Chinese President Wei Zhen Lin has been forced to agree with the expansionist policies of his General, and they have declared the South China Sea a protectorate and planned an invasion of Taiwan.

The stakes are dangerously high as the Ryan administration attempts to thwart Chinese ambitions, facing missiles and cyber attack. Jack Ryan, Jr. may just be the wild card that his father needs. One problem: someone knows about the intelligence agency, and may be about to blow their cover sky high.

About the authors

Tom Clancy

Thirty years ago Tom Clancy was a Maryland insurance broker with a passion for naval history. Years before, he had been an English major at Baltimore's Loyola College and had always dreamed of writing a novel. His first effort, The Hunt for Red October, sold briskly as a result of rave reviews, then catapulted onto the New York Times bestseller list after President Reagan pronounced it 'the perfect yarn.' From that day forward, Clancy established himself as an undisputed master at blending exceptional realism and authenticity, intricate plotting, and razor-sharp suspense. He passed away in October 2013.
