An intelligent, action-packed scifi thriller from the Hugo award winning author of The Stars are Legion and the Worldbreaker Saga Series

'Hurley's world-building is phenomenal . . . highly engaging' Publishers Weekly
The final instalment of the Bel Dame Apocrypha trilogy from Hugo-award winner Kameron Hurley
Nyx is back, alongside the bel dame sisterhood of assassins.

Although the centuries-long war is over, civil unrest is rife, and the fate of one kidnapped politician could be the catalyst for a bloody regime change.

With aliens in the sky and a hint of revolution in the air, Nyx and her team of mutant shape-shifters, torturers and bio-tech magicians have a new mission: save a life to save a country.

About the author

Kameron Hurley

Kameron Hurley currently hacks out a living as a marketing and advertising writer in Ohio. She’s lived in Fairbanks, Alaska; Durban, South Africa; and Chicago, but grew up in and around Washington State. Her personal and professional exploits have taken her all around the world. She spent much of her roaring 20’s traveling, pretending to learn how to box, and trying not to die spectacularly. Along the way, she justified her nomadic lifestyle by picking up degrees in history from the University of Alaska and the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Today she lives a comparatively boring life sustained by Coke Zero, Chipotle, low-carb cooking, and lots of words. She continues to work hard at not dying. Follow the fun at www.kameronhurley.com

Praise for Rapture

Kameron Hurley is ferociously imaginative - with an emphasis on ferocious. She writes novels that are smart, dark, visceral and wonderfully, hectically entertaining.

Lauren Beukes, author of The Shining Girls

Edge-of-the-seat action set within a strange and alien world that's the mutant child of Frank Herbert and Roger Zelazny. At her best, Hurley's work rivals that of Gene Wolfe, and it burns like a drug in the mind long after you've finished it.
