Prayer For The Dead: An Inspector McLean Novel

The fifth title in the bestselling Inspector McLean series from James Oswald, for the first time in hardback.

DI Tony McLean is called to Gilmerton Cove, a network of murky caves under the streets of Edinburgh, where the body of missing journalist Ben Stevenson has been found.

It is a particularly gruesome murder and yet there is a troubling lack of forensic evidence at the scene - as if no one else was ever there.

When another body is found - again with no trace of a killer - McLean knows he faces an elusive and sophisticated predator. The only clue McLean has is the story Stevenson himself was investigating.

But if McLean follows the dead journalist's path too far he will soon find himself the next victim . . .
