A lyrical and necessary picture book about a young boy's resilience in the face of a natural disaster.

It’s a sweltering summer in India when Arjun finally hears the pitter-patter of rain against the roof. A monsoon is on the way, but this time the storm rages with relentless waters, and Arjun and his family must flee to safer ground. As floodwaters rise, Arjun worries what home will look like if the storm doesn’t let up.

My House Is a Muddy River is a tender and timely story exploring the meaning of home in the wake of hard times, and the courage we need to carry on.
