Praise for Mia Megastar

The story is lively, has funny moments and really a story about her and her family who call each other by Greek names which Mia translates for readers. Tinged with cute illustrations throughout the book, it is an ideal fun loving book for ages 8+.

School Days Magazine, School Days Magazine

The strong characters are relatable and each bring their own special quality to the story. The introduction and discussion of Greek language, food and traditions is a wonderful way to expose readers to another culture. At the end of the book is a Q & A with Ada Nicodemou which is both enlightening and worth sharing with children. Highly recommended.

Kathryn Beilby, ReadPlus

This is a nice story for younger middle-aged readers. It is positive from beginning to end and encourages us to give things a go: to step out of our comfort zones, make friends with new people, and love those who love us.

Sue Mauger, Glam Adelaide

. . . an attractive layout with many visual features including acting tips from someone who has proven herself . . . make this a series that is going to appeal to a large number of newly-independent readers.
