Praise for Maigret's Revolver

One of the greatest writers of the twentieth century . . . Simenon was unequalled at making us look inside, though the ability was masked by his brilliance at absorbing us obsessively in his stories.

Guardian

A supreme writer . . . unforgettable vividness.
