The Silent Patient if it were written by a psychiatrist: a compulsively page-turning, twist-packed debut about a patient stalking her psychiatrist

Dr. Naya Quade is a respected psychiatrist. But when a new patient, Alice, arrives for her first session Naya realises she knows too much about her. It wouldn't be the first time Naya has dealt with a stalker, but Alice also seems to think Naya has stolen her life.

When Alice begins to appear everywhere Naya cares about—at her children's school, in text messages to her husband, even her professional conferences—Naya's grip on reality begins to unravel.

Naya decides to take matters into her own hands, setting off a chain of events that will reveal devastating truths that she may wish had stayed buried.

Praise for Did You Miss Me?

Nadi Meyar's debut, DID YOU MISS ME? is the kind of psychological thriller that gets under your skin and stays there. With its razor-sharp premise, mounting dread, and brilliantly controlled reveals, it keeps you questioning what—and whom—you can trust. Naya’s unraveling is as intimate as it is terrifying, and every new revelation casts the story in a darker light. Smart, unsettling, and compulsively readable, this is a suspense novel that will have you turning pages long after you think you’ve figured it out.
