About the author

Khenpo Ngawang Pelzang

Klienpo Ngawang Pelzang (1879-1941) was an important figure in modern Tibetan Buddhism, especially to the Nyingm; Lineage, the oldest school of Buddhism in Tibet, in which he was a major teacher, abbot, and scholarly author. He studied for years with a close disciple ofPatrul Rinpoche, the author o The Words of My Perfect Teacher, from whom he received direct instructions on how to study and practice with that text.
