Trisha Yearwood

Book for an event

Trisha Yearwood began her recording career as a receptionist at MTM Records and as a "demo" singer for dozens of aspiring songwriters. After signing a recording contract with MCA records, Trisha burst onto the music scene with her first single in 1991, "She's In Love With the Boy," which went straight to #1. Over the ensuing years, Trisha has had eight more #1 songs, twelve albums, four Gold Record winners, four Platinum awardees, a Double Platinum seller, and a Quadruple Platinum blockbuster. She has been honored with Country Music Awards, Grammy Awards, and dozens of other trophies. In 2006, Trisha married country sensation Garth Brooks in a wedding that was featured on Oprah. Her first cookbook, Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen, was a New York Times bestseller, as was her follow-up, Home Cooking with Trisha Yearwood. She will publish a third cookbook in April 2015. She also stars in the Emmy Award-winning show Trisha's Southern Kitchen on Food Network.
