When he is not writing picture books, he works as an elementary school librarian, a children's book reviewer at the blog 100 Scope Notes, and the cohost of The Yarn podcast with Colby Sharp. Gracey Zhang is a critically acclaimed illustrator, author, and animator. She is the artist behind Noodles on a Bicycle by Kyo Maclear, for which she won a Caldecott Honor Award. Her debut picture book, Lala's Words, earned her the Ezra Jack Keats Illustrator Award. Originally from Vancouver, she currently lives and creates in Brooklyn, New York.
