Tracey Richardson

Book for an event

Tracey Richardson, author of the motivational autobiography Tracey Richardson: Going the distance, is a mother of four, including two with cystic fibrosis, who juggles her hectic life to stretch her limits and find out what she is made of. From her lowest point — being morbidly obese and chronically unfit — she turned her life around and completed several Ironman events, and became a motivational speaker and major fundraiser for cystic fibrosis. Vodafone NZ Foundation selected her as a 2005 winner of its World of Difference award; and in 2005 Tracey was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) for services to persons with cystic fibrosis’. She was the face for the Special K Women’s Triathlon on the television promotional commercials.
