Tony Perry
Book for an event
Tony Perry was born in Sydney, grew up in Wagga and ended up in Melbourne. He played music (indifferently) during the sixties and like most of his contemporaries imagined a life of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. In the seventies he studied printmaking at the Victorian College of Arts, worked as a photographer, held several exhibitions, and wrote reviews for the Age. From 1980 to 2003 he taught photography and art history, but gave up in disgust when the powers decided a 'training' was more important then an education. In 2006 he wrote this book.
