Sophie Townsend

Sophie Townsend, daughter of well known author, Helen, worked in ABC Radio but is now working with an interactive marketing agency as a copywriter and account manager. She has written two plays for ABC Radio - "Embryonics" and "Blisters" and has produced two documentaries for ABC Radio National - one for Hindsight, and one for Radio Eye. In 2004 she co-wrote "Loss and Gloss", a two-woman show performed at the Darlinghurst Theatre. "Misconceptions" is her first novel.
