LORA MCCLAIN-MUHAMMAD is a Gary, IN native and best selling author of the I Need You to Know series, which was inspired by her granddaughter. Her books are meant to provide an educational, inspirational, and beautiful depiction of our children, from their skin complexion to their hair type. Lora and her husband, Abdul, share 4 daughters and one granddaughter. She’s a full time author, entrepreneur, and is fulfilling her purpose by mentoring women and girls all over the world.
