Jon Lee Anderson

Jon Lee Anderson is an American journalist, author and staff writer for The New Yorker, where he has contributed since 1998. He is a highly regarded reporter on political violence, conflict and revolutionary movements, having covered wars and crises across the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Anderson is the author of several acclaimed books, including Guerrillas: Journeys in the Insurgent World, The Fall of Baghdad, To Lose a War: The Fall and Rise of the Taliban and Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life, a New York Times Notable Book of the Year in 1997.
