David Stubbs is an author, TV, film and music journalist. Having co-founded the influential magazine Monitor while at Oxford University, he went on to become a staff writer for Melody Maker, NME and Uncut. He is now a regular contributor to the Guardian and the satirical website The Daily Mash, while his work has also appeared in the Independent, The Quietus, The Sunday Times and Esquire.
He has watched Breaking Bad three times through from beginning to end, believes it to be the greatest TV show yet created, and is bursting with spoilers. He lives in London.
