Chris Banks is the founder and CEO of ProWritingAid, a writing platform trusted by over four million writers worldwide. For more than a decade, he has worked closely with writers at every stage of their journey, helping them overcome technical barriers—and discovering that the greatest obstacle most writers face isn’t craft or talent, but mindset.

Chris holds a master's degree in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University, where he developed a deep fascination with how beliefs, emotions, and habits shape human potential. Across careers in research, consulting, and entrepreneurship, one question has guided his work: why do so many capable people fail to finish what matters most to them?
