Camille de Toledo is an acclaimed French writer, academic, therapist, and artist whose genre-bending work masterfully blends fable, memoir, history, and narrative. Educated in Paris, London, and New York, he is the author of five celebrated novels, as well as essays, operas, and plays. His English-language debut, Theseus, His New Life, was a finalist for the 2021 Goncourt Prize and won the Franz Hessel Prize for Contemporary Literature and the French Academy’s Prix Henri de Régnier. Born in Lyon, de Toledo currently lives in Berlin.
