Beau Miles

Beau Miles is a man stuck between young and not-so-young, living the conundrum of being supremely active as an endurance runner and eye-wateringly sedentary as a filmmaker. He enjoys setting himself inexplicable challenges – like walking 90 kilometres just to get to work, planting a tree every minute for twenty-four hours, and concocting new stuff from hard-rubbish – as well as the routine of making his kids lunch every day. In his spare time he writes manifestos like this to try to figure it all out, which he knows will fail, but it keeps him mighty busy and he’s okay with that.
