Anna Perera taught English in two inner London secondary schools before becoming a children's writer and screen writer. She gained an MA in Writing for Children in 1998 and is a member of Shooting People, Talent Circle, Scriptwriter's Workshop and New Producer's Alliance. Anna now lives in Hampshire.
