Andrea Barrett is the recipient of a National Book Award and a MacArthur Fellowship, and her collection of short stories, Servants of the Map, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 2003. A fellow at the New York Public Library Center for Scholars and Writers, Barrett lives in North Adams, Massachusetts, and teaches at Williams College.
