10 heartwarming moments from Love Your Bookshop Day 2024

Cupcakes, family photos and lots of fun with the Personal Penguin!

We don’t know about you, but we think Love Your Bookshop Day (LYBD) is one of the best days of the year!

For those of us who love books, what could be better than celebrating local bookstores? Good vibes, great reads and lots of fun – sounds like the perfect day!

Better yet, this year introduced the Personal Penguin, an adorable little figurine that levelled-up the cute factor. While the figurine itself was a fun addition, it was especially heartwarming to see readers, authors and booksellers creatively sharing the figurine to spread word about LYBD.

Scroll on to see some of the cutest moments from LYBD 2024. We’re sure they’ll put a smile on your face.
