Quiz: Discover which Discworld book you should start with

This quiz will help you find the best starting point for your Discworld journey based on your personality and reading preferences.

Terry Pratchett’s Discworld books have garnered a massive fanbase over the years, and it's easy to see why. Entertaining, humorous, and one-of-a-kind, all forty-one of the books are loved for different reasons.

While it might seem like a daunting undertaking to get into a series as big as this, the wonderful thing about Discworld is that there’s no clear chronological order readers must follow.

Rather than a linear path, the books weave through a looping web that spans all forty-one titles. You can start from a point of personal interest, working your way from there through the entire series if you so desire.

But if you don’t know much about the books, how do you know where to begin?

This quiz is a great place to start! Answer these questions to gauge which book best covers topics and characters you will like. The recommended results are all considered 'starter novels' in the Discworld universe, so you can rest assured that you will be diving in from a good starting point.
