Dymocks is delighted to welcome back one of our most popular guest speakers, Fiona McIntosh, Fiona is an internationally and million-copy bestselling author of novels for adults and children across several genres. Alongside her highly successful historical fiction titles, her popular Detective Jack Hawksworth series has recently been released across the UK and US. Several of her historical titles as well as the ‘world of Hawksworth” crime novels have been optioned for the screen. Her debut children’s picture book Harry and Gran Bake a Cake, was published in 2025 and shortlisted for an Indie Book Award.

 

Fiona’s roams the world for her research and lives between Adelaide in South Australia and Wiltshire in England. Fiona was a highlight of the Cunard Dymocks Literature Cruise to Tasmania in 2024.
