Following on from the success of The Champagne War, we return for the story of Charlie Nash in The Soldier's Daughter. Violet Nash has lived under the weight of her father Charlie's shattered dreams since he returned from WWI a broken hero. In search of a new beginning, they set sail to Tasmania to pursue his dream of setting up a whisky distillery. It is here Violet discovers a talent for distilling and her father's dream now becomes her own. However, as WWII intensifies, Charlie feels compelled to return to action, leading him back to Champagne.
