Drawing from her experiences as a rural midwife, Fiona McArthur has written a plethora of beloved romance books set in the Australian outback. She showcases the challenges of rural life, but also the strength and joy of people through her witty writing and well-constructed characters. She was awarded the NSW Excellence in Midwifery Award in 2015 and the Australian Ruby Award for Contemporary Romantic Fiction in 2020, and was shortlisted for the same award in 2023.
