About

Join the current editor of Good Food Ardyn Bernoth and former Good Food Guide editor and Festival Director of Good Food Month, Joanna Savill, as they invite one of Australia’s great food educators and chef, Stephanie Alexander AO, to share dishes from her 1996 seminal work in The Cook’s Companion.

Alexander has built her reputation in Australia’s dining scene as an owner-chef of several successful restaurants over the past 30 years, including Melbourne’s hugely popular Stephanie’s Restaurant which opened its doors in 1976.

As a restaurateur, Alexander has long been a supporter of small, local suppliers, and has also grown her own produce. She’s published 17 influential books, with The Cook’s Companion affectionately known as the ‘food bible’.

Join Alexander for this special evening and rare opportunity as she opens up her cookbook to make you a meal to remember.
