The epic conclusion to Phillip Kennedy Johnson’s acclaimed Superman saga of family, legacy, and hope, delivered in this second volume omnibus.
In the aftermath of the Warworld Revolution, Superman returns to Earth stronger than ever, leading the House of El and Metropolis into a new golden age of futurist prosperity. But Superman's introduction of the Warworld refugees to Earth attracts the attention of terrifying threats, new and old: the cunning Lex Luthor, his supercharged and unwilling puppet Metallo, Metallo's reanimated cybernetic army the Necrohive, the violent anti-alien movement Blue Earth, and their mysterious new leader known only as Norah Stone, who may or may not be from this Earth...and who harbors a secret personal vendetta against the House of El.
Then in the final chapter, when Superman's nemesis from Warworld returns to invade Earth and take Superman's family, Superman is flung alone into a distant future...one in which the Earth is enslaved, Superman's legacy is forgotten, his bloodline scattered, and his greatest enemies rule the universe. To save the universe from war and find his way home, Superman must reunite the fractured House of El and remind them of the meaning of the symbol they wear and the pursuit of Truth and Justice is never-ending and universal.
