ridiculous/hilarious/terrible/cool

a year in an american high school

With true stories about classes, extra-curricular activities, romances, and more, this comprehensive collection presents a realistic look at what it is like to enjoy, cope, and survive high school and its many dramas.

Elisha Cooper spent a year hanging out at a Chicago high school—listening and sketching students. He followed eight kids, mostly seniors, through their entire year and by telling their specific stories he gives us a more accurate picture of what it’s like to be a high school student. Part documentary, part sketchbook, ridiculous/hilarious/terrible/cool offers a vivid and thoroughly entertaining account.
