When Murray passed away in March 2021, tributes came flooding in from every corner of the sporting world. Maurice Hamilton has been covering Formula 1 as a freelance journalist since 1977. He has attended more than 450 Grands Prix, including every race since 1984. The author of 19 books, Hamilton also commentates on the Grands Prix for BBC Radio 5 Live.
